The journey began in Los Angeles, where two web professionals, James and Charles, connected over their shared frustration with unreliable hosting and a lack of transparency in the industry. After years of planning, they launched Domain Web Hosting Service (DWHS) in 2001 with the goal of building a hosting company that businesses and developers could trust.
By 2003, DWHS became profitable through steady growth and strong word-of-mouth referrals. In 2006, the company became part-owner of a state-of-the-art data center in downtown Los Angeles, gaining full control over server and network architecture.
