Every Web Host Pro hosting account includes built-in spam filtering at no extra cost. You can manage spam protection directly in your email program or through cPanel using tools like SpamAssassin and email filters. These tools help reduce unwanted messages before they ever reach your inbox.

How to reduce spam quickly

• Enable spam filtering in cPanel and set a reasonable spam score threshold
• Create email filters to block specific senders, IP addresses, or keywords
• Mark unwanted messages as spam in your email client to improve filtering
• Use strong passwords and avoid posting email addresses publicly

Reporting spam

If you receive phishing or fraudulent email, you may report it to the appropriate authorities:

Our anti-spam policy

Web Host Pro has a strict zero-tolerance policy for unsolicited bulk email. Mass mailing to recipients who have not explicitly opted in is not permitted on our network. We also prohibit so-called “drop pages” that receive traffic from spam campaigns.

To protect all customers, we run server-level spam detection and monitoring on shared platforms. Accounts found sending spam may be suspended to prevent damage to server reputation and email deliverability.

About spam blocklists

Some third-party blocklists automatically flag servers based on reported activity. While these services can be useful, listings can sometimes occur without direct verification. For this reason, maintaining good sending practices and avoiding unsolicited email is the best protection.

Most professional email services, including cPanel email, allow you to maintain your own personal blocklists. Blocking a sender by email address, IP, or keyword is often the fastest and most effective solution.
